Erin and Christopher are thrilled to be collaborating with bassoonist Tom Breadon from Mill Ave Chamber Players! This unique concert will feature music for clarinet, viola, and bassoon, a trio of instruments that has not been composed for---until now! Tom has brilliantly transcribed Bela Bartok's Bagatelles (originally for solo piano) for clarinet, viola, and bassoon, and Christopher's father, Nashville based composer David McKay, has written a wonderful new piece called "Interplay", which is a fun and jazzy romp. The program will also include Rebecca Clarke's Prelude, Allegro, and Pastorale for Clarinet and Viola, Francis Poulenc's Sonata for Clarinet and Bassoon, and Franz Schubert's Trio in B Flat d. 471. As always the Musician Encounter Series is a free concert and open to the public. Donations are gladly accepted which helps fund this series.
