This will be Urban Nocturnes' first concert appearance at Saint Barnabas featuring music for flute, violin, and viola, performed by Viviana, Karen, and Christopher. Franz Josef Haydn's youthful London Trio No.1 opens the program and is followed by the playful and impetuous Serenade for Flute, Violin, and Viola by Post-Romantic German composer Max Reger. The Duet for Violin and Viola by Louis Spohr evokes a wistful melancholy, and twentieth-century Hungarian composer Endre Szervanksy's rustic and pastoral Trio delivers a rousing finale.
